Girolamo Ferdinando De Simone is a classical archaeologist whose interests cover a wide range of topics including the Roman Economy and Ancient Landscapes. Since 2004 he has led the Apolline Project, a multidisciplinary research project on the North Slope of Mt. Vesuvius and inland Campania.
Dr Girolamo Ferdinando De Simone is able to travel to Sydney due to the generous assistance of the School of Philosophical and Historical Enquiry at the University of Sydney.
